Disabled Policy

Amazonia is intended to be an inclusive experience suitable for a wide range of special needs visitors.

Access
Amazonia, and the rest of the M&D's complex, is fully wheelchair accessible.

Toilet Facilities
A disabled toilet is located within our giftshop area.

Blind & Visually Impaired Visitors
Unfortunately we are unable to allow assistance dogs into Amazonia due to the free ranging animals. Blind and visually impaired visitors are welcome at Amazonia and a guide can be arranged with advance notice. Registered assistance dogs can be cared for by our front of house staff.

Special Educational Needs
Amazonia is a suitable experience for a wide variety of special needs. A complete sensory experience is available with our animal handling sessions considered particularly beneficial. Special needs groups are welcome at Amazonia. Please contact our bookings department to arrange an education session.

Reduced Admission
We offer reduced admission rates of £4.20 per person for registered disabled visitors and their carers (ID required).
